Mr. Johnson has over 50 years’ experience working as a curator in Baltimore and San Francisco and is also an avid collector known for his eye for the unusual and his love of the intimate side of the artists he admires. All the works featured in The Private Impressionist are from his private collection, and Edgar Degas is at the heart of the collection.
