ALISON BONNER, PH.D. Arthur *VIRTUAL*

Arthur: Early Sources, Modern Hypotheses
*VIRTUAL ONLY*
Dates: Jan 22, 29, 2027 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Cost: $175 for 2-class session
Did Arthur exist, what information about him might we have, and can we fit him into a plausible historical scenario? In these seminars we’ll look at early references to Arthur in both literary material and early “historical” notices. Then we’ll consider further evidence and explore whether we can reconstruct a narrative account of the late fifth to early sixth centuries A.D. in Britain that might provide a context into which we could place Arthur.
